A new member has been added to the Export Processing Zone of TEDA Tianjin

As one of the first fifteen batches of export processing zones in the country, the Export Processing Zone of TEDA Tianjin has been growing rapidly in recent years. In the beginning of the year, the top global battery manufacturing enterprise – GS- Yuasa's affiliate company had joined this zone.

This morning, Yuasa (Tianjin) Technology Limited held the opening ceremony for the factory.

Zhang Jun, the deputy director of TEDA Tianjin Administrative Committee, Naruo Otsubo, the representative and chairman of Yuasa Company, Toshikazu Nakamura, the director and general manager of Yuasa (Tianjin) Technology Limited, as well as the heads of the Customs of TEDA Tianjin, the Entry and Exit Inspection and Quarantine Department of TEDA Tianjin, Trade Development Board of TEDA Tianjin, Labour Department of TEDA Tianjin, and Construction Development Board participated in the opening ceremony.

During the ceremony, Zhang Jun congratulated Yuasa (Tianjin) Technology Limited for joining the Export Processing Zone. He expressed that Yuasa Company is a top global battery manufacturing enterprise, and it is his honor that the company has joined TEDA Tianjin. The Administrative Committee of TEDA Tianjin has a greater responsibility for supporting the operations of Yuasa Company. At the same time, the Administrative Committee of TEDA Tianjin will also put greater emphasize on the growth of Japanese firms in TEDA Tianjin. It is currently working hard to gain understanding of the investment and living environment needed by Japanese firms through a thorough research of Japanese firms. The committee hoped that Japanese firms would provide valuable input and feedback to them, so as to enable the committee to provide better services.
